A mother :: Strength produces strength. Strong women are already natural protectors, but in hard times, those limits are pushed. In Reem’s story, her mother took on all the pain so that her children could thrive worry-free. The protector bears the weight of problems for the sake of her loved ones. In my artwork, the mother shields her children from the rain. Native to Saudi Arabia, the Jasmine flowers represent the children growing. The love is really what causes the children to flourish.
