James’s story spoke to me of a hard-working mother who, against the treacherous grit of life and unfortunate events, is raising five young and upstanding gentlemen. She persevered and, acting as a fearless leader in even the darkest of times, became a shining beacon of bold, daring hope and everlasting love for her family. A mother of similar, honorable caliber exists in our popular culture scene. She was previously known as a heroine princess, had become a resolved general, calm in the face of those who bring tyranny and rock-solid in her fight for all that is just and humane, for the benefit of her family. Even though certain obstacles and choices may lead some of our family members having differences sometimes, this heroine still has faith and love and remains present as the rock for her son to ground himself. She carries the whole-hearted belief of the good that resides within her son, and within all of humanity. That powerful, unconditional love of a mother for her son and her willingness to go to any length, even across the reaches of space, to guide him home, is without comparison in this universe or any other.
